Handwritten notes, free text, photos and even strings of numbers contain valuable insights that are inaccessible to computational analysis without a schema or map. It’s estimated that over 80% of enterprise data is unstructured, offline and illegible for analysis. System2 uses advanced A/ML and NLP techniques to extract and organize unstructured data to bring it into the data science light.

Privacy

System2 takes privacy interests seriously. With any data that we find or use, we go to great lengths to protect against the accidental or unauthorized use or disclosure of personal identifying information. It’s part of our collection and retention processes, and if it’s a third-party data set, we make sure it’s part of theirs as well. It’s important to us, it’s important to our partners, and it’s part of our legal and regulatory obligations.

Sourcing

We also know how important it is to ensure that the data or information we source is obtained legally. That means maintaining clear policies against insider trading, both for internal purposes but especially for the vendors and other providers we work with. Likewise, our guidelines and processes put front and center information security, permitted uses, and the laws and regulations around hacking and cybercrime. If we have any lingering doubts about the provenance of certain data, then it’s not for our clients or us.

Diligence

System2 uses best-in-class diligence questionnaires and processes before onboarding any third-party data set or vendor. We put those records at your fingertips, and we’ll work with your compliance and operations teams to make sure they have everything they need.
